NOTE: Applications for Specialized Programs (Heavy Formwork and Scaffolding) must also include the following additional documentation:

  • Registered Apprentices must provide a copy of documented work experience, and proof of apprenticeship registration with the Department of Industrial Training Division, Department of Education.
  • Journeypersons must provide a copy of current Provincial or Inter-Provincial Red Seal Certificate
  • Other applicants must provide documentation of construction hours.

Mature students need to make an appointment with the Administration Department to write the Canadian Adult Achievement Test (CAAT).

Applications will only be processed once ALL documentation is received.

All information provided within the Application for Admission is collected for the purpose of admission and registration, learning services, record administration, and for college statistical information. Information provided to the Carpenters Millwrights College is kept confidential on the applicant’s record and may only be disclosed internally to administrative and academic officials as per the college’s Privacy Policy. Information may also be provided to applicable provincial government departments as per reporting requirements under the Private Training Institutions Act and the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
