Scholarships and grants are financial incentives available to high school students, undergraduates, and/or apprentices pursuing post secondary education and/or training.  They are not loans and never need to be repaid.

Each scholarship and grant has its own application process and criteria.  Depending on the specific scholarship and grant applied for, consideration may be given to some or all of the following:

  • Academic Achievement
  • Community and volunteer Activities
  • Financial Need
  • Geographic Representation
  • Anticipated needs for specific skilled trade programs

There are currently two scholarships and two grants available:

  1. JATC (Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee Scholarship)
  2. Alberta Centennial Scholarship
  3. AIG (Apprenticeship Incentive Grant)
  4. ACG (Apprenticeship Completion Grant)
