TIMES:

Nine (9) month programs:   
   8:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., & 1:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday; 8:30 a.m. & 9:30 a.m. Fridays

Direct Entry Students & Apprentices:  
   11:00 a.m. Monday - Friday

Re-Writes:  1:30 p.m. Fridays

TEST ROOM RULES:

No graphic calculators; No food or drinks (only water is permitted); No text books or written materials; No sharing of resource material (National Building Code/OH&S Regulations) or calculators; No leaving the test room once a test has been given; All cellphones must be turned off.

RE-WRITES: 

Effective January 1, 2011, there is only one allowable re-write attempt (supplementary exam) for each failed test with a maximum attainable value of  80%.  A period of one week must have lapsed since the failed attempt before a re-write can be done.  All re-writes must be done on Friday afternoons.

TEST SIGN UP SHEET:

The deadline for signing up for a test period is 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. This applies to direct entry students, apprentices, and anyone needing to do a re-write . The sign up sheet is located on the tester’s office door in the main lobby. If a test period has been scheduled by your instructor, there is no need to sign up.

REQUIREMENTS:

All persons writing a test (with the exception of re-writes) must submit their practical sign off sheet and assignment before a test will be given.

POSTING OF MARKS:

Marks are posted by 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Thursday on the bulletin board next to the downstairs carpentry shop. Please do not request marks at the front desk.
